So, you need a website? Of course you do. Doesn’t everyone these days? How else are you going to do business in the middle of the night while you’re asleep? While you snooze, your website can be attracting new customers, answering questions for existing customers, taking orders, and generally representing you and your business to the great internet public.
What’s more, potential customers expect you to have a website. Even when they come to you in person to actually make their purchase, it’s fairly likely they’ve checked you out online first. If your business isn’t online, your competitor’s is. With the “credit crunch” making every penny count, a website can help to drive customers your way.
Can you afford not to have a website?
About stc-webdesigns
I am a small business website specialist based in Worksop in the East Midlands. My focus is on customer satisfaction. I build sites which are functional and attractive, and meet the client’s needs. I offer everything from a one-page brochure style site to a fully content managed website which you can update yourself. To keep costs low Wordpress is the most useful and versatile content management system (CMS), but if necessary I can also design a bespoke CMS using php and mySQL. The websites I build conform to the latest W3C standards for xhtml and CSS, are built with SEO issues in mind, and I make every attempt to address accessability issues for the visually impaired.
I specialise in sites for small businesses, freelance professionals, and charities. Why keep it small? As a small business, I understand the needs of other small businesses. I understand how important it is to see the maximum benefit coming back from every penny invested. My customers like the personal approach of working with an individual rather than a faceless organisation, and so do I. Because I don’t take on large-scale corporate projects I can devote equal time and resources to all the web design projects I undertake. This means you can rely on YOUR website getting my full attention, not being sqeezed in around what some web design agencies see as more “prestigious” work.
